About

Hi. I’m Sonya. How are you? That’s great.

Rather than over-think what to include on this portal/vanity page, I’ve decided to hardly think about it at all. Public persona what? Personal branding makes or breaks careers when?

Instead of offering words in place of action, as many do, I invite you now to have a nap with me as I take the initiative and SHOW you just how little I’ve thought about what sort of impression I’m making here. I’m all about results. And this is why you want me on your team.

“All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make, the better.” – Ralph W Emerson.

Simplifying = Acting on Priorities.

This is an online portfolio, tracking where I invest my time and energy. Subject to change.

Projects & Experiments:

What I put in my body: plants and water (mostly all raw wholefoods now (as of December 21, 2011)), except for cooked lentils and the occasional quinoa salad. If anybody cares, I’ve been eating plants since (but not 24/7) 2003. I haven’t died yet. I kept a blog about my 3 + months of eating raw deliciousnesses in 2009; the marginally interesting posts are here.

Learnings:

The psychology of automation; Asset/Time allocation (applying automation and attention-allocation to establish beneficial behaviours, a.k.a habits)

How to make stuff look pretty and work well (form and function and user-based design; tech shiz)
